La storia è capovolta quando, nell'Inghilterra del X secolo, Re Artù viaggia per la campagna alla ricerca di cavalieri che si uniranno a lui alla Tavola Rotonda di Camelot. Radunare gli uomini è già una favola, ma dopo un po' di festa a Camelot, molti decidono di partire solo per essere fermati da Dio, che li manda in una missione: trovare il Santo Graal.
